Press:
June Miller come with a huge 3 track release and joins a Sonorous family whose repertoire so far has seen the likes of Lynx, Octane & DLR, Random Movement, Bungle and more contribute work to. 2012 has been a huge year for June Miller with releases on Ram Records and Critical to name a few. Here they bring three tracks of the highest quality to a label that has a firm model of quality over quantity. With distribution now handled by SRD expect to see some more exciting music from Sonorous in the coming months.
*DJ support for these tracks, and other recent productions has come from LTJ Bukem, Marky, Lynx, AI, Zero T, Octane & DLR, Mortem, Nickbee, Eveson, Sabre, Vicious Circle, and many more.
*‘Brave Man’ is an infectious liquid funk roller with a bassline that will melt you; all the ingredients to remind us of the summer we didn’t have! Crisp, punchy beats mixed down to perfection, a sultry piano melody and some amazing vocals from Mark June Miller. A brand new and original track from a pair who continues to show how diverse their productions can be.
*‘Bright Lights’ comes with some heavy hitting sub bass; beware. A techy slice of deepness from June Miller here with a track that could be heard at Hardware or Soul:R! Industrial fx and soundscapes surround a driving bassline and comes with a stripped back beat that’s impossible to ignore: a monster with groove.
*‘Age 23’ is as smooth and sultry as they come. A 130 jazz fused/trip hop track leading with a Joy Division inspired sample from the movie ‘Control’. Its safe to say the ride ‘Age 23’ will take you on is a deep, hypnotic and emotional one, add to that the live trumpets of personal friend to June Miller ‘Case’ and the scene is set, the level of reflection is up to you.
Volume 2 is taken care of by June Miller in the run up to their release on Sonorous with 'Brave Man', 'Bright Eyes' and 'Age 23'.
To say the last twelve months have been busy for the duo is an understatement to say the least! With releases on Critical, Ram Records, Commercial Suicide and some very exciting news just around the corner June Miller's profile just seems to be growing with a momentum that can't be stopped!
With the Sonorous release in production as we speak, we thought it a perfect time to unleash the cast they have done for us!

We are very pleased to announce the release of our next single (Sonorous011) by hotshots June Miller.
Featuring some liquid funk, deep and downtempo/jazz vibes it is perhaps our best single yet and we cant wait to let it loose.
As always mastering comes from the highly talented Beau Thomas @ Masterpiece, and artwork is taken care of by Vince @ Facts of Life. With the vinyl release coming with some added treats inside we are sure you will be feeling this one.
We have never been a label concerned with time or number of releases: whether that takes 1 or 12 months to find the right tracks, its something that as a label we feel very strongly about, the quality over quantity model is something we will always stick too, so we hope the wait was worth it, we certainly think so!
Watch out very soon for early copies in the Sonorous Store and the full vinyl /digital release in all good record shops not far behind...

Soundium believes in the sea of podcasts there are some that really stand out. So we have decided to give the best ones some extra audience and for you - a chance not to miss out on fresh must-hear material. From now on Soundium's podcast section will also feature mixes from common-minded labels. This time it is a mix from Sonorous Music label's boss himself – DJ Hayze. You can't expect anything but quality from the label that brought us great tracks by Lynx, Bungle, Saburuko, Mixmaster Doc, Sinistarr, Bop or Brother to name a few and basically revealed the talent of Atom with „Excursion“ (be sure to check out the compilation of best Sonorous Music tracks “1012's” that has just came out!). Fortunately, this podcast is even better than one can expect: melodic and easy, yet never shallow, with some heavier tunes in the second part of the mix to get your head nodding. Mr. Hayze, after listening to this, we simply can't wait for some new material on Sonorous!
